At Urbs Data we support companies with data, BI, and process automation projects. We are looking for a Data Lead who makes strategic decisions on projects, leads the team, and acts as the bridge between business and technology.

What you will do

  • Lead data projects end to end, defining architecture, priorities, and strategy.
  • Coordinate and grow a team of 2 to 3 people or more.
  • Take on the PM/PO role: build roadmaps, manage the backlog, and align expectations with clients.
  • Document solutions, decisions, and processes.
  • Take part in hiring and interviewing new data profiles.

What we are looking for

Leadership and management

  • Experience leading data projects and making strategic decisions.
  • Experience leading teams of more than 3 people.
  • Experience as a PM or PO, including documentation and roadmap building.
  • Command of agile methodologies.
  • Experience interviewing or selecting data profiles.

Technical

  • ETL development.
  • Knowledge of Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
  • Working with git.
  • Nice to have: experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, etc.).
  • Nice to have: experience with Metabase, Airflow, dbt, dlt.

Language

  • Conversational English (B2).
