At Urbs Data we support companies with data, BI, and process automation projects. We are looking for a Semi Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain data solutions on GCP, and who is comfortable talking with clients to understand what they need.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models.
  • Model and transform data with dbt on BigQuery.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Metabase.
  • Take part in client conversations to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Document solutions, decisions, and processes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience as a Data Engineer (semi senior level).
  • Experience in data warehousing and ETL development.
  • Knowledge of Data Lakes and their architecture.
  • Advanced SQL.
  • Experience with dbt.
  • Experience with BigQuery and GCP.
  • Experience with Metabase.
  • Experience with Airbyte and Airflow.
  • Experience with Google Workflows and Cloud Run.
  • Knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture).
  • Experience integrating data from APIs and databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation.
  • Comfort talking with clients and explaining technical topics to business stakeholders.

Language

  • Conversational English (B2).
